OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?

There is a doctor available each day to undertake requests for home visits. Those who are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery can request a home visit by phoning 0845 337 6320, before 11.00am. Only emergencies will be visited after this time.

It is important that requests are made as early in the day as possible to enable the doctors to plan their day and to ensure as far as possible surgeries are not disrupted due to late requests.

A doctor, or if appropriate a nurse, will visit or may telephone to assess the need for a home visit.

If you feel that you cannot wait, the receptionist will get a doctor to speak to you, to assess the urgency of the call and, if necessary, to attend sooner.
